Coach Todd Bowles relayed Monday that Fitzpatrick (thumb) will remain the Jets' starting QB.
According to Bowles, in the wake of Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Texans, in which Fitzpatrick completed 19-of-39 passes for 216 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions, there was "not much" thought to making a change at QB. Next up for Fitzpatrick and the 5-5 Jets -- who have dropped two games in a row -- is a home tilt against the 4-6 Dolphins on Sunday.
