Rex Ryan has announced that Jets rookie safety Calvin Pryor will not remained benched in Week 12 against Buffalo. Pryor was forced to miss the Sunday win over Pittsburgh after being late for team meetings.

"Calvin is going to play," Ryan told NJ.com. "He'll definitely play."

But after serving as a starter most of the year, Pryor has apparently lost that job to Jaiquawn Jarrett, who earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for a performance against the Steelers in which he recorded two interceptions, one fumble recovery and a sack.

Ryan said he expects Jarrett to start against the Bills.
