Lucas (undisclosed) was released off Chicago's injured reserve Wednesday with an injury settlement, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Lucas landed on injured reserve in late August with an undisclosed injury and is now free to sign elsewhere thanks to the injury settlement. The 28-year-old opted out of the 2020 campaign and filled a role on special teams in 14 games for the Chiefs in 2019.
