Bynes (knee) reached an injury settlement, and was cut by the Lions on Saturday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Bynes had been placed on the injured reserve list with a knee injury. The severity of his knee injury is still unknown. He had originally projected to provide linebacker depth for the Lions this season.
