Initial tests conducted on Adams following Sunday's 35-18 win over the Redskins suggested that the receiver avoided a major knee injury, but his status for Saturday's divisional game against the Cardinals remains a question mark, ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky reports.

Adams sustained the injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game when tight end Richard Rodgers landed on top of him after a reception. While Adams was able to walk back to the Packers' sideline, he wasn't able to put much weight on the leg and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Coach Mike McCarthy said the team expects to know more about the extent of Adams' injury Monday, but with the team facing a short week of practice, there's a chance the wideout won't be able to recover in time to take the field. If that's the case, Adams, who tallied four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown before departing Sunday, would likely see his snaps get handed down to the likes of Jared Abbrederis and Jeff Janis.
