Erving (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Erving popped up on the injury report Friday, apparently suffering the ankle injury at some point during the week of practice. He failed to participate in any fashion Friday, which puts his status Sunday in doubt. Erving has served as Carolina's backup right tackle, so his absence would affect the team's depth.
