Patriots' Griff Whalen: Heads to New England

The Patriots have signed Whalen, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.

With Danny Amendola dealing with an ankle issue that will probably cost him some time, Whalen gives the Patriots some needed wideout depth heading into the stretch run. Out of the gate, however, Whalen is no higher than No. 4 in the team's fantasy pecking order at the position.
