Brissett (thumb) and Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) were both present for the start of Tuesday's practice, ESPN.com reports.

Brissett had tape around his throwing hand at Tuesday's practice, but he was able to play through the issue in the second half of Thursday's win over the Texans, and he may be available Sunday against Buffalo. Meanwhile, the Patriots are also hoping Garoppolo can play, sending Brissett back to the bench for the final game before Tom Brady returns from his four-week suspension. The Patriots did have T.J. Yates in for a workout last week, but the team's decision not to make a roster move suggests Garoppolo and/or Brissett will likely be available.
