Though Bennett missed a handful of plays during Sunday's win over the Jets after tweaking his ankle, the Boston Herald relays that the tight end wasn't favoring the ankle after the game.
Bennett's ankle has been an issue since Week 5, but the tight end continues to work through his aches and pains. With Rob Gronkowski's Week 13 status looking cloudy after he suffered a back injury Sunday, Bennett could be looking at a big workload next weekend against the Rams. In Week 12, he was on the field for 58 of 73 snaps on offense, en route to hauling in three of his five targets for 22 yards and rushing once for four yards. While Bennett's practice participation figures to be impacted this week, and he'll probably be listed as questionable by the Patriots on Friday, it would presumably take a setback for him to not be in uniform this coming Sunday.
