ESPN's Dianna Marie Russini indicates that Gronkowski's MRI "only shows bruising."
With that in mind, Russini describes Gronkowski as "week-to-week." While the tight end has yet to be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, we suspect that he'll be hard-pressed to play in the contest. Still, after initial fears that Gronkowski may have suffered a serious injury Sunday night, that he evidently avoided any sort of major knee damage is good news for the Patriots. If Gronkowski does miss time, Scott Chandler is next up for the team's passing targets at the tight end position.
