Head coach John Harbaugh indicated Monday that Smith (back) is "getting closer" to returning.
Smith, who has missed the previous two games, is reportedly running again. It is unclear exactly how close he is to returning, so his status will need to be monitored. Shareece Wright and Jerraud Powers will presumably continue seeing a heavier workload if Smith remains sidelined.
