Richards was promoted to the Ravens' active roster Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of The Baltimore Sun reports.
The Ravens have been fortunate on the injury front heading into Week 1, so while Richards likely won't contribute on defense, he could log some playing time on special teams Sunday against the Browns.
