Newly signed Redskins cornerback Chris Culliver had his charge of felony possession of brass knuckles reduced to a misdemeanor on Tuesday, according to the Mercury News.

Culliver signed a four-year, $32 million deal with the Redskins earlier this month. He still has a charge pending involving one count of midemeanor hit-and-run. These charges were incurred while the cornerback was a member of the 49ers.

The 26-year-old was second on the 49ers' defense with four interceptions in 2014. For his career he has 127 total tackles, 35 passes defensed, seven interceptions and two forced fumbles.
