Browns linebacker Barkevious Mingo reportedly will undergo arthroscopic surgery Thursday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, per Cleveland.com.

The injury, which happened during practice Tuesday, was confirmed by an MRI on Wednesday. Mingo likely will miss four weeks as he recovers, but could be ready for the season opener on Sept. 13.

Mingo has seven sacks in two NFL seasons after being selected with the No. 6 pick in the draft in 2013. He was being pushed by undrafted linebacker Scott Solomon in training camp.
