Spence was placed on the Saints' Non-Football Injury Reserve list Tuesday with a knee injury, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.

Spence tore his ACL while preparing for training camp and was placed on the NFI list in order to make room on the 90-man roster for another player. The 26-year-old recorded three tackles (one solo) and a sack across seven games with the Saints last season. The team has yet to provide a timeline for Spence's return, but given the timing and nature for his injury, it's likely he'll be sidelined for most, if not all, of the 2020 season.
