Seahawks' Troymaine Pope: Could return in Week 13

Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Pope has a chance to return from his high-ankle sprain Sunday against the Panthers, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.

Carroll added that he's "shocked" at the progress made by Pope in his recovery. Perhaps the coach misspoke after a Week 11 win against the Eagles, when he termed Pope's injury "a bit of a high-ankle sprain." However, there seems to be a chance that Pope will be available soon as depth to a backfield led by Thomas Rawls.
