Shabazz has been promoted to the Steelers' active roster, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Shabazz's promotion comes as a result offensive lineman Cody Wallace's placement on the injured reserve. Shabazz will provide depth in the Steelers' defensive backfield as well as possible contributions on special teams.
