Todman will sign with the Texans, John McCain of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Todman is an effective kick returner but hasn't been anything more than a depth running back in the pros. The 2011 sixth-rounder will compete for slotting behind starter Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue and rookie D'Onta Foreman.
