Titans receiver Kendall Wright is still adjusting to the new offense, in his second year with coach Ken Whisenhunt.

After freelancing and running what teammates called "streetballerish" routes in his early career, Wright struggled with the precise routes Whisenhunt demanded last year, complaining that he felt like a "mechanical robot".

"It’s because of the spacing with the other routes," Whisenhunt explained, per ESPN.

"We’ve had a lot of talks about it and I think we’re both in a great place with it," he added.

Wright seems on board, albeit grudingly. "I’ve got to run the route, that’s what I am doing," he said. "I feel confident and comfortable at what I am doing out there and I’m just trying to be in the right spots for the quarterback, that’s the main thing."

"However I get there, I get there," he added. "As long as I am in the right spot."
