Vikings' Mackensie Alexander: Falls to Minnesota in second round

The Vikings selected Alexander in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 54th overall.

Alexander was widely deemed a first-round talent going into the draft, but his reputation as a difficult personality likely pushed him down this far. Aggressive and confident, Alexander was highly effective in college and gives Minnesota a fine long-term starting cornerback option under coach Mike Zimmer's watch.
