Wallace was released by the Vikings on Tuesday, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports.

Wallace would've had to accept a massive pay cut to have any shot at sticking with the Vikings. He'll look to find a new home, coming off an ugly 2015 campaign in which he caught just 39 passes for 473 yards and two touchdowns on 72 targets in 16 games. Wallace will be one of the more interesting options in a weak free agent class at his position, but he's still unlikely to find an assured starting job.
