The Devils recalled Gazdic from AHL Albany on Tuesday.
The Devils are pretty banged up at forward, so Gazdic will slot into the lineup immediately, skating with Blake Coleman and Ben Thomson on New Jersey's fourth line Tuesday against Philadelphia. The 27-year-old winger has failed to tally a single point in 10 games with the big club this season, so he won't be a useful option in daily contests against the Flyers.
