McGinn was placed on injured reserve Saturday with an upper-body injury.
McGinn's IR designation is retroactive to Feb. 10, so he won't be eligible to play Saturday against Toronto. He has been out for the Ducks' last five games, though it's unclear how many of those absences were injury-related. Alex Killorn (knee) was activated from IR in a corresponding move.
