Hurricanes' Jay McClement: Ice time rapidly diminishing

McClement, who has yet to record a point this season, saw ice time of just 7:21 Friday against the Canadiens - his second-lowest TOI of the season.

McClement has seen his average ice time steadily decline over the last few seasons, from 15:15 four seasons ago with the Maple Leafs, to just 10:14 currently. His value to the Hurricanes remains tied to his ability to take faceoffs and kill penalties, two stat categories that carry little to no weight in most fantasy formats. As such, he should not be on your roster outside of very deep leagues.
