Islanders' Josh Bailey: Leaves series clinching game early

Bailey left the game Sunday before the end of the first period with an undisclosed injury, Brian Erni of Islanders Point Blank reports.

The Islanders did not feel the need to update his status after the game Sunday and Bailey should have at least three days off to prepare for the their second round matchup versus Tampa Bay. Bailey has been almost invisible the entire season (12g, 20a) so his loss is far from an impactful one should his injury be more serious than expected.
