Sparks will be recalled from AHL Ontario and join the Kings for their game Sunday in Washington, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Sparks hasn't set foot on NHL ice since 2019-20, when he made a relief appearance with Vegas. He's 4-3-0 with the Reign this season, which isn't bad, but his ratios (3.23 GAA, .894 save percentage) leave a lot to be desired. It's unclear what the Kings' plans are for Sparks while he's at the top level, as the team also recalled Jacob Ingham on Saturday from ECHL Greenville.
