Sparks will guard the road goal Sunday versus the Capitals, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
This will be Sparks' first NHL contest this season, and he last played in the NHL in 2019-20 in a relief appearance with the Golden Knights. He'll face a Capitals team that's missing three of its regular top-six forwards, but they remain dangerous with Alex Ovechkin in top form this year.
