Malone was summoned by Edmonton on Wednesday.
Malone had no points in 10 games with the Oilers during the regular season. He also played in 41 contests with AHL Bakersfield in 2022-23, contributing four goals and 21 points in that span. He'll provide the Oilers with some injury insurance during their playoff run.
