Oilers' Jonas Gustavsson: Will not play Tuesday

Gustavsson (head) will be sidelined against the Hurricanes on Tuesday, Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reports.

With Gustavsson unable to serve in the backup role, the Oilers will recall Laurent Brossoit from AHL Bakersfield. Gustavsson faced just one shot after coming on in relief of starter Cam Talbot before being involved in a collision. As is often the case with head injuries, there is no timetable for the 31-year-old's return.
