Panthers' Michael Sgarbossa: Leaves game due to injury

Sgarbossa (undisclosed) left Tuesday's game against the Rangers and was unable to return, Jameson Olive of FOX Sports Florida reports.

Sgarbossa was crushed by Chris Kreider of the Rangers on a clean hit and struggled to skate back to the bench. He immediately went to the room for evaluation and never returned, limiting him to 7:16 of ice time and 13 shifts. If Sgarbossa is forced to miss time, Shawn Thornton will likely draw back in.
