Sabres' Benoit Absent From Practice

Benoit, who left Monday's game with a lower-body injury, did not skate at practice Thursday.The Sabres don't play until Friday, which gives Benoit a little more time, but his status is questionable until further notice. The veteran defenseman could sit out the Sabres' two remaining games, though there has been no news of a call-up from AHL Rochester yet. Benoit has one goal and nine points in 59 games this season with 98 blocked shots.
