The Dodgers remain interested in Cole Hamels, but may not have the players to get him, according to CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler.

Both teams have discussed trades, but the Phillies don't like the return they would receive from the Dodgers.

If the Dodgers don't acquire Hamels, they'll remain aggressive in the market. Now that Chad Billingsley is injured, the Dodgers need for a starter has increased.

The Dodgers also are interested in Ryan Dempster and Matt Garza. They also could make a play for outfielders Michael Cuddyer of the Rockies and Josh Willinghamof the Twins.

The Phillies have been scouting Angels' outfielder Peter Bourjos, reported Knobler.

The team would still like to try and sign Hamels to an extension before trading him away.
