Not wanting to address the out-of-nowhere criticism from team president Phil Jackson, Carmelo Anthony told reporters after the Knicks got humiliated in a 126-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, that he wasn't focused on the Zen Master's comments. Instead, Anthony said he was more focused on his teammates and helping the Knicks continue to play "great basketball."

But Anthony may have changed his mind on Thursday.

Taking to social media, Anthony posted two pictures with captions that seem to allude to Jackson's comments. The first was a smiling portrait of himself, with the following caption:

"EGO is the only requirement to destroy any relationship. So, be a BiGGER person, skip the "E" and let it "GO.""

About an hour later, Anthony posted the iconic arrow picture of the late great boxing legend Muhammad Ali with the following caption:

"UN-Phased (MyLifeSummedUpInOnePhoto)."

Anthony could obviously be referencing a number of different things with these photos. Like perhaps the Knicks' 32-point blowout loss, which got so bad for New York that LeBron James and several members of the Cavs chilled on the bench and flipped water bottles in the fourth quarter. Anthony and the Knicks could just be "unphased" by the loss, right?

But the timing of these posts just seem too perfect to not be about Jackson's comments. We won't know for sure, since Anthony is probably keeping it extremely vague in these posts for a reason. However, it would be rather curious and strange if Anthony's posts were not about Jackson and his propensity for ill-timed comments.
