The first person LeBron James embraced after the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals was Kevin Love. The picture of the two teammates hugging has since become quite iconic, as it shows the pure emotion both James and Love felt immediately after winning the championship.

Yet while the hug was a purely sentimental moment, it wasn't a truly spontaneous moment. Love actually planned on hugging James.

"I didn't want to be the guy who was searching for someone to hug." Love said in a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "So I tried to find the person that everyone was most likely to hug and it happened to be 'Bron. All of the cameras were there. He dropped to his knees. It was a special moment, something I will always remember among many things in that game. But that was a warm, cuddly embrace at the end there."

LeBron being described as warm and cuddly is quite hilarious yet Love was actually part of the hug so he would know best how it felt. And from the sounds of it, it is a hug that Love will fondly look back on for the rest of his life.
