Wasting no time, the San Antonio Spurs announced in November that they will retire Tim Duncan's No. 21 jersey after a game against the Pelicans on Dec. 18. Duncan just retired this past summer but the speedy timeline to honor him is much deserved as he helped the franchise win five championships and is a surefire future Hall-of-Famer.

What the normally drab dressed Duncan will wear to his jersey retirement remains to be see. But Duncan, a player many affectionately called a robot for his extreme consistency throughout his career, will be sporting a new and unique tattoo that matches his cyborg demeanor under his ill-fitting attire.

It took over a year but Duncan now has a truly massive robotic-themed tattoo on his back:

The tattoo was done by artist Chris Escobedo of Elite Custom Tattoo in Phoenix, who has worked on another one of Duncan's tattoos in the past. Escobedo traveled to San Antonio to complete Duncan's ink, which the Spurs legend told Jared Zwerling for a Bleacher Reporter story in September of 2015 is a "car part yin yang, mechanical meets spiritual" tattoo.

There is really no other way to describe Duncan's tattoo as it literally looks exactly like what he told Zwerling. Honestly the only other thing to call the tattoo is glorious, which can also be used to describe Duncan's accomplished and illustrious career.
