With the Western Conference Finals set to begin on Sunday, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich gave San Antonio fans some peace of mind by confirming that star forward Kawhi Leonard will indeed play in Game 1 against the Warriors.

Leonard missed overtime of Game 5 against the Rockets after injuring his ankle earlier in the contest, and sat out Game 6 completely. Reports indicated that he would play in Game 1, but hearing Popovich confirm it is music to Spurs fans' ears.

In order for San Antonio to pull off the massive upset, Leonard is going to have to put together a monster series, so everyone will be paying close attention in Game 1 to see how close he is to 100 percent.
