It has only been six games but Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns have already developed excellent on-court chemistry. Like against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, when Wiggins and Towns worked a give and go to perfection.
Passing to Towns at the elbow, Wiggins cut towards the basket and almost immediately got the ball back from the Timberwolves rookie. Wiggins then rose over Paul Millsap, dunking on the Hawks forward with a powerful one-handed slam.
The slow-motion replay of Wiggins' dunk really shows how high up he gets.
Let's hope this is the year Wiggins enters the Slam Dunk contest.
