10/24/16DLSharrif FloydKneeQUESTIONABLEFloyd (knee) will not play Sunday against the Eagles.

Floyd was held out of practice this week and didn't appear likely to suit up anyway. Linval Joseph and Tom Johnson will operate as the Vikings' top defensive tackles.

10/24/16TEMyCole PruittKneeQUESTIONABLEPruitt (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Pruitt hasn't practiced since suffering a knee injury in Week 5, so he'll remain sidelined for Sunday's game in Philadelphia. That absence will leave the Vikings with one less tight end option behind Kyle Rudolph and Rhett Ellison.

07/29/16QBTaylor HeinickeAnkleOUTHeinicke (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday after a lengthy recovery stemming from July foot surgery, Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune reports.

Heinicke has a three-week window for the Vikings to either activate him from the reserve/NFI list, waive him, or send him to IR. If he's activated he'll likely serve as the No. 3 option at quarterback behind starter Sam Bradford and veteran backup Shaun Hill.
