08/05/16DBMarqueston HuffSuspensionSUSPENDHuff has been suspended one game for a violation of the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Huff has played 63 and 81 percent of the special teams snaps for the Titans in his first two professional campaigns, respectively. Along the way, the safety has accrued 33 tackles (22 solo), four passes defended, one interception for a touchdown, and one sack in 30 career games. After missing the Titans' season opener on Sept. 11 against the Vikings, Huff will be eligible to play in Week 2 at Detroit.

08/04/16WRKendall WrightHamstringQUESTIONABLEWright (hamstring strain) is expected to miss Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders, the Tennessean reports.

Wright, who has been running on a side field of late during practices, is thus a candidate to see some action in the Titans' preseason finale against the Dolphins next week. On the plus side, the Tennessean report notes that Wright, who posted career-lows in catches (36) and yards (408) in 10 games last season, has "drawn praise from the coaching staff for the work he's done while injured." Once his health is re-established, look for Wright to remain a presence in the slot for Titans, with Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe appearing on track to start on the outside for the team.

08/01/16LBAaron WallaceAnkleQUESTIONABLEWallace (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of Titans Online reports.

Wallace suffered a high ankle sprain during practice in early August, forcing the rookie to the sideline for a matter of weeks. The Titans take on the Panthers in their second preseason contest Saturday, but Wallace may not be ready to return to game action at this point. His next opportunity to play would be the following Saturday in Oakland.

04/27/16WRAndrew TurzilliSuspensionSUSPENDTurzilli is dealing with both a groin and thumb injury, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

It's unclear exactly when he suffered the injuries, but it's likely going to keep him limited for the time being. The Titans face off with the Panthers on Saturday in the team's second preseason outing, so it remains questionable whether or not Turzilli will be available. Turzilli is suspended for the first four games of the season for his use of performance-enhancing substances, making the injury just another hit to his chances of making the final roster.

07/30/16WRCordarrelle PattersonShoulderPROBABLEPatterson had two receptions for 17 yards in Thursday's preseason win over Seattle. He missed Minnesota's first preseason game with a shoulder injury.

Patterson got time with the first-team offense and got to passes in the flat where he was able to use his speed to miss tackles. It was an encouraging sign that he could have a few plays a game designed for him on offense. However, his playing time is likely to be minimal on offense this season as he'll likely see almost all his action as a kick returner.

07/29/16QBTaylor HeinickeFootNFIHeinicke (ankle) has shed the walking boot he wore to protect his foot from further injury, Scout.com reports.

Heinicke declined to talk about his injury after practice, reportedly saying it was time to go lift weights. If those were indeed his plans, his foot may be further along than anticipated. However, Shaun Hill has done nothing to relinquish his role as the backup to starter Teddy Bridgewater, and the Vikings project to carry only two quarterbacks on their active roster entering the regular season. Ultimately, Heinicke appears destined for either the practice squad or injured reserve list in 2016.
