11/29/15LBAhmad BrooksCONCUSSION, TOEQUESTIONABLEBrooks (personal) returned to the field Thursday, recording five tackles (two solo) and a pair of sacks in the loss to Seattle.

Brooks had missed last week's contest to attend the funeral of his sister. He returned Thursday and the extra rest seemed to have given the veteran linebacker a boost. While this was a monster game, it has to be taken with a grain of salt, as the Seattle offensive line is, well, offensive.

11/29/15TEGarrett CelekAnkleLEFTCelek was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain after Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

If Celek misses time beyond Week 12, which seems likely, there could be a few more targets available for top tight end Vance McDonald, who caught six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game. No. 3 tight end Blake Bell would also be in line for a bigger role, after catching three passes for 67 yards Sunday afternoon.

11/29/15RBCarlos HydeFOOTOUTHyde (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, CSN Bay Area reports.

Hyde still hasn't played since Week 7 and is no lock to suit up again this season. Shaun Draughn will continue to lead the San Francisco backfield, with Kendall Gaskins and Travaris Cadet working in reserve. Draughn played nearly all of the offensive snaps in Week 11 against the Seahawks.

11/16/15WRDeAndre SmelterUndisclosedNFISmelter (knee) is slated to practice this week, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Smelter will remain on the 49ers' Reserve/Non-Football Injury list for now, as the team has a three-week window in which to evaluate whether or not to officially add the wideout to the team's 53-man active roster.

11/29/15WRStedman BaileySuspensionSUSPENDBailey has been suspended four games for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

With Bailey -- who has recorded 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown in eight game to date -- set to miss time, it's now understandable that the Rams are expected to work out wideouts Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker and Vincent Brown, per ESPN's Adam Caplan.

11/29/15CBTrumaine JohnsonTHIGHQUESTIONABLEJohnson (thigh) is inactive Sunday against the Bengals, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Johnson failed to log practice time this week, so his absence certainly comes as no shock. Look for Lamarcus Joyner or Marcus Roberson to pick up extra snaps in his stead.

11/29/15QBCase KeenumCONCUSSIONQUESTIONABLEHead coach Jeff Fisher reiterated Sunday that Keenum will start when he receives clearance from the concussion protocol, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Keenum fulfilled expectations with inactive status Sunday at Cincinnati, forcing the inimitable Nick Foles to carry the offense to the tune of 30-for-46 passing, 228 yards, and no touchdowns versus three interceptions. Still in the midst of the protocol for head injuries, Keenum's activity level in practice this week will forecast whether he's nearing a return.

11/29/15DERobert QuinnHIP, BACKQUESTIONABLEQuinn (hip) in inactive Sunday against the Bengals, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Quinn has sat out two of the past three games, and was on the field for just 14 snaps Week 10 against the Bears. After missing practice all week, it's not overly surprising to see him sit, as the Rams may want to save him to help compete for a Wild Card spot during the season's final stretch. His absence is certain to adversely affect the St. Louis pass rush.

11/29/15KGreg ZuerleinRIGHT GROINQUESTIONABLEZuerlein (groin) is inactive Sunday against the Bengals, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Zuerlein was a late addition to the injury report after suffering a groin injury during Friday's practice, and that ailment turned out to be enough to hold him out of action. According to the Rams' official site, the recently-signed Zach Hocker will get the starting nod at kicker Sunday afternoon.

11/04/15RBTrey WattsSuspensionSUSPENDWatts was signed by the Rams on Friday, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.

Watts was promoted from the practice squad, suggesting that Tre Mason (ankle) is unlikely to play. Even if he's active, Watts won't necessarily get any touches.
