07/11/16WRKenny BellHamstringPROBABLEBell was impressive once again in Wednesday's mini-camp session, notching several touchdown grabs, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The former Cornhusker continues to make up for lost time after having sat all of his rookie campaign in 2015 with a hamstring injury. Bell has been impressive throughout the offseason, and turned heads again Wednesday with several touchdown grabs from backup quarterback Ryan Griffin. The 23-year-old has received extra reps this week due to veteran Vincent Jackson sitting for precautionary reasons, and he's used the opportunity to catch the eye of his head coach. "Kenny definitely had a good day today and a couple really nice throws there in the red zone from Griff (Griffin)," coach Dirk Koetter said. "If you were out here enough, every guy has his ups and downs, has his good days and bad days and Kenny certainly made a couple plays."

04/27/16DBMajor WrightUndisclosedPROBABLEWright (undisclosed) will be placed on injured reserve this week, NFL Network's Rand Getlin reports.

Wright opened the season as a starter, but his Week 1 injury gave Chris Conte a chance to shine. Hobbled by injuries for much of the year, Wright finished with just 25 tackles and three passes defensed in nine appearances. He is under contract for 2016, whereas Conte's deal expires at the end of the season. The Bucs might also opt to look outside of the organization for a starting safety to pair with Bradley McDougald.

07/11/16LBPernell McPheeKneePROBABLEMcPhee (knee) will miss this week's minicamp, and head coach John Fox was noncommittal as to whether McPhee will be ready for training camp in July, reports Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.

McPhee had arthroscopic surgery on his knee shortly after the 2015 season, and was not expected to be at full speed until training camp, so this isn't shocking news. However, having the outside linebacker at full strength for the regular season will be vital to the Bears' pass rush, as McPhee recorded five sacks in the first seven games of 2015 before being slowed down by the knee injury.

07/11/16DLCornelius WashingtonQuadricepsPROBABLEA quad injury caused the Bears to place defensive lineman Cornelius Washington on injured reserve, the team announced Monday. With an open roster spot, the team re-signed linebacker Sam Acho.
07/11/16WRMarquess WilsonFootDOUBTFULWilson, who re-fractured his left foot Tuesday, is out indefinitely.

Per the report, Wilson -- who missed the last five games of the 2015 season after breaking the same foot -- will undergo surgery this coming Monday and is thus a candidate to open the season on the PUP list. With Wilson ailing, look for Eddie Royal, Josh Bellamy and Marc Mariani, as well as Cameron Meredith, Daniel Braverman and Deonte Thompson to jostle for slotting on the Bears' wideout depth chart behind top options Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White.
