2014 Super Bowl Odds and Line: Broncos -3 vs. Seahawks
The early 2014 Super Bowl line and odds were released Sunday night and the Broncos are -3 against the NFC champion Seahawks.
After toppling New England 26-16 on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are headed to Super Bowl XLVIII to face the Seahawks, who defeated the 49ers in the NFC Championship. The Super Bowl opened on Sportsbook.ag as a pick 'em.
However, a LOT of early action on the Broncos at a pick 'em and Denver -1 caused Sportsbook to move the line to Denver -3 within an hour of the final matchup being decided.
Sportsbook.ag says over 90% of early betting on #Broncos - driving the move to Denver -3 over Seattle— RJ Bell (@RJinVegas) January 20, 2014
It's an interesting line, because Manning and his crew of wideouts -- Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Wes Welker -- are an incredibly potent offense. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks don't bring the same firepower.
Seattle's defense, of course, is an entirely different beast, and and clearly Vegas believes that nullifies Peyton and his record-setting offense, at least to a degree.
Bovada.lv has the Broncos favored by just a single point with the over/under on the game set at 47.5. (Sportsbook and CBSSports.com have the o/u at 48.)
The Broncos money line (straight-up line to win) is -145, while the Seahawks are +125.
