If you watched Robert Griffin III run around the field and take shot after shot after shot from the 49ers defense during the Redskins 27-6 loss on Monday night, you could come to the conclusion that he shouldn't be on the field. At least one 49er did just that.

Ahmad Brooks, who delivered a few blows to RG3 on Monday, said he doesn't think Griffin "should be playing right now."

"He's obviously a man and he makes his own decisions, but I personally don’t feel he should be playing right now," Brooks said.

Brooks was asked to clarify if Griffin should be sitting because of his knee injury hampering his ability to play (because what else?) and confirmed.

"I don’t think he should be playing," Brooks said. "You can see it. Everybody can see it, everybody can see it."

Don't look at this as Brooks tossing Griffin under the bus and calling him out, though. I mean, it is those things, but he at least complimented him while doing so.

"He’s a man, he has the heart of a warrior and is going to go out there and play regardless of the circumstance," Brooks said. "Everybody can see it. Everybody can see it.

"He shouldn’t be playing."

Couldn't agree more, Ahmad.
