The Cleveland Browns will go through much of their offseason training program without their 2016 first-round pick. Corey Coleman suffered an injury during practice last week, and on Wednesday Browns coach Hue Jackson indicated it'll be a little while before Coleman gets back on the field.

Coleman suffered the injury when he fell after hauling in a deep pass from Brock Osweiler in OTAs, per Cleveland.com.

Browns receiver Corey Coleman landed hard on the ball after a deep catch from Brock Osweiler in OTAs and went to the ground on Wednesday.

He remained down for about three minutes while the trainer tended to him, and then Hue Jackson came over to check. Jackson helped him up, and then Coleman walked slowly into the building with a trainer. He did not appear to be favoring a leg or anything else.

Jackson said at the time that Coleman was "fine," but apparently the injury has lingered a bit longer than expected. Coleman missed six games during his rookie season after breaking his hand in practice. He's expected to be a bigger part of the team's offense this season with No. 1 receiver Terrelle Pryor having moved on to Washington. Coleman should bring the speed and explosion complement to newly-signed receiver Kenny Britt, but he'll now have to wait a while longer to develop chemistry with whoever winds up under center for the Browns.
