The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced a trade Friday, sending cornerback Eric Wright to the San Francisco 49ers for a conditional selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Wright recorded 37 tackles and one interception in 10 games for the Buccaneers in 2012. He has 14 interceptions -- two for touchdowns -- in his six-year career.
The Cleveland Browns picked Wright in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of UNLV. He played four seasons in Cleveland before leaving for a single year in Detroit in 2011 before moving to Tampa.
