Deion Sanders stands by his report that 49ers players want Jim Harbaugh out, even if Harbaugh is calling the report a 'bunch of crap.'

It all started on Sept. 28 when Sanders said that several players had told him that they wanted Harbaugh out.

"They want him out," Sanders said. "They're not on the same page. I really want to know if they're really playing for the head coach. I got a question with that. Are you really down with your head coach, San Francisco 49ers? Because the way it looks and what I'm hearing, you're really not down for your head coach. And that's a problem. They really got some problems that we hear rumblings. We all know people inside locker rooms."

Harbaugh was asked about the comments during a press conference on Sept. 29 and the 49ers coach shook them off, saying that they were a "bunch of crap."

"Personally, I think that's a bunch of a crap," Harbaugh said. ""If someone has a good story to tell, they want to put their name to it. If I had a good story to tell, I'd want to put my name to it, so I don't put a lot of credibility to the unnamed source."

Harbaugh's questioning of Sanders' story led the Hall of Famer to bring the subject up again during the pregame show on Thursday Night Football. Sanders reiterated that he has sources and that the story is real.

"I have sources. I’m not going to name my sources. I have sources that wear football uniforms, coats, suits and ties. I didn't stutter, nor did I stammer. This is real," Sanders said. "You’re talking about [49ers general manager] Trent Baalke, we know there's a rift between he and Harbaugh, we all know that. That’s why the whole Cleveland thing came up last year. Who’s ever heard of thinking about trading a coach. Why would Cleveland even inquire if there was nothing there? That has trickled down into the locker room. Not only are my sources correct, I checked three insiders from different networks and it’s 100 percent. You can shoot the messenger, but the message is real."

San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick was asked about the subject this week and said he wouldn't talk about it unless Sanders revealed his source.

"Well, I'd like to know who the source is. So, when you get a source from that, then we can talk about that. Until then, that's the media," Kaepernick said.

Although most players stayed neutral or wouldn't talk about the subject this week, offensive lineman Alex Boone did show some love for his coach.

"I know for a fact that everybody loves Harbaugh," Boone said.
