The Jets have placed safety Antonio Allen on season-ending injured reserve Monday after having dispatched him to the waived/injured list Friday, per Associated Press. He tore an Achilles tendon during practice the previous day.
The team has also announced the activation of defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson from the active/physically unable to perform list.
