After only two days, it looks like the Josh Norman free-agency tour has come to an end. The free agent cornerback has agreed to a five-year, $75 million deal with the Washington Redskins, CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora confirms. NFL.com initially reported the news.

The signing comes just two days after the Panthers surprisingly decided to rescind his franchise tag. Norman would've made $13.95 million under a one-year deal if he had signed the franchise tender, but he didn't sign it because he wanted more money, and he got it from the Redskins.

The newly signed corner will be making an average of $15 million per year under his new deal. According FoxSports.com, Norman will make a total of $51 million over the first three years of the contract, with all $51 million coming in the form of guaranteed money.

If that sounds like a lot, that's because it is.

Norman's three-year total makes him the highest paid corner in the league.

The $15 million per year average is also tops in the league, just ahead of Darrelle Revis ($14.02 million per year), Patrick Peterson ($14.01 million per year) and Richard Sherman ($14 million per year).

Norman seemed pretty excited about the numbers.

The Redskins likely felt compelled to get something done on Friday because they didn't want to lose Norman to New Orleans.

Although the 49ers, Dolphins and Jaguars were all mentioned as possible suitors, the Norman sweepstakes came down to the Saints and Redskins.

The Saints made a late run at Norman over the past 24 hours, which included Norman getting a personal call from Saints head coach Sean Payton, according to NFL.com.

The big problem for the Saints though is that Norman spent Friday in Washington, and the Redskins really didn't want him to leave.

The free-agent cornerback flew to Washington, D.C. on Friday and met with members of the Redskins' front office. Norman didn't travel alone, either. According to ESPN, Norman brought several family members, including his mom.

For most people, if you bring your mom to a job interview, you're probably not going to get the job. In the NFL, if you bring your mom, that means you're serious about signing a deal, and that's exactly what Norman did.

Norman took his Washington visit pretty seriously Friday. The cornerback rolled up to the Redskins' practice facility in a motorcade that would make the president jealous.

The former Panthers corner flew to D.C. on a private jet provided by the Redskins. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported earlier on Friday that the Redskins put the "full-court press" on Norman during his visit.

Norman's arrival in Washington means that the Redskins two games against the Giants will be must-see TV. Back in December, the cornerback got into a serious scuffle with Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

The two have also taken their feud into the offseason. Assuming both players stay healthy, those two will resume their rivalry in both Week 3 and Week 17.

As for the rest of the schedule, the Redskins will likely notice right away what kind of impact Norman makes in the secondary. In the first three weeks of the season, the newly signed corner will be tested by Antonio Brown (Week 1), Dez Bryant (Week 2) and Odell Beckham (Week 3).

The Redskins will also cross paths with Steve Smith, A.J. Green and Larry Fitzgerald in 2016.

A solid 2016 season from Norman would be big for the Redskins. According to data provided by Sportsline's Stephen Oh, the addition of Norman means an extra .6 wins in 2016. That might not sound like a lot, but if you can add a corner who accounts for over half a win a season, you almost have to do it, especially if you're the Redskins, who ranked 25th against the pass in 2015.
