There were signs of fire from the Saints on Wednesday in what could be described as a rather low-key minicamp. The Saints offensive and defensive players went at it toward the end of the morning practice. QB Chase Daniel said he thought LB Curtis Lofton was too close to him on a play, so Daniel fired the ball at Lofton. From there a massive scrum occurred, but no punches were thrown. Acting head coach Joe Vitt joked about the skirmish saying he would take the team to a petting zoo on Thursday or do something else nice for the players.
