The Lions signed free agent defensive end Austen Lane to a one-year contract Tuesday, according to the Detroit Free Press. Lane has been a free agent since spending the preseason with the Chiefs.
The former Jaguars defensive end has 66 tackles (47 solo) and three sacks in 28 career NFL games.
