Brock Osweiler's decision to ditch Denver for a giant paycheck in Houston didn't just shock NFL fans on Wednesday, it also shocked one of his teammates.
After reports surfaced that Osweiler had accepted a four-year, $72 million deal to sign with the Texans, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris took to Twitter to show his reaction.
Shocked I thought Brock wanted to play with us lol

Harris wasn't the only one who was shocked. Former Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik, who now works for ESPN, was also shocked.

As a matter of fact, "shocked" kind of became the word of the day after Osweiler's deal was announced.
Honestly shocked Osweiler went to the Texans. So does that really mean Kapernick to Broncos?

Kinda shocked Osweiler left Denver

WOW. Shocked by this Osweiler news... But am I? I always thought there were schemey weasel undertones in him.

As for Texans fans, they were just shocked that their team actually did something.
Shocked and that #Texans actually made a splash in Free Agency. Huge if they could pull off Osweiler and Miller!

Not everyone was shocked though, some people were just mystified that the Texans would give $72 million to an unproven quarterback.
$18m per year for Brock Osweiler? That's stupid money. And John Elway is not stupid.

Is Brock Osweiler the new Matt Flynn? Small sample size, moving to a new system with a huge money deal...

Speaking of Matt Flynn, the man who wrote the book on ridiculous QB contracts was even surprised by Osweiler's contract.
Wow I know I'm going to get killed for this and I don't have a lot of room to talk, but this latest QB contract is unbelievable........

Flynn wasn't the only quarterback wowed by Osweiler's deal, Kirk Cousins seemed to be impressed to, but that's probably because Osweiler just made Cousins millions of dollars when the Redskins quarterback hits free agency after the 2016 season.
@bosweiler17 YOU LIKE THAT! Happy for ya!

The good news for Osweiler is that he now moves to a division where he's the best quarterback. Or not.
AFC South QB Ranking: 1. Luck. 2. Mariota. 3. Bortles. 4. Osweiler.

The moral of the story is that if someone wants to give you $72 million for seven career starts, you take the money and don't ask any questions.
